Tour Our Home
Plymouth
Rock Roost was considered the "showplace of Plymouth"
when it was erected in 1905. It features double carved front doors,
which open into the entry hall where you are greeted by an antique
cutter sleigh filled with friendly stuffed animals. A lovely curved
staircase invites you to the second floor where the guest rooms
are located.

 |
Country
Room
The Country Charm room is at the head of the stairs.
It features a king sized pencil post bed with curtains, an
antique hand woven room size rug, a cherry chest of drawers
from the 1840's, and the original sorting desk from the Plymouth
Post Office. |
 |
Family
Heirloom Room
In the Family Heirloom Room you may curl up on the cherry
king size bed and gaze at family portraits. The immigrants
chest, brought from Switzerland by Joyce's Grandparents, a
cherry chest of drawers, a lift top walnut table, and other
antiques fill the room for your enjoyment.

 |
Victorian
Splendor Room
The Victorian Splendor room has a lovely walnut Victorian
double bed, an Empire chest and a cherry drop-front Lincoln
desk. You may enjoy reading a good book, from the huge selection
in the hall, or wonder how the Victorian Shadow boxes, which
grace the walls were created. |
 |
Bathroom
The elegant shared bathroom was created in 1996 and includes
an oversized shower, a two-person whirlpool tub and a double
sink. Marble surrounds the tub and lines the walls where fluffy
towels hang and invite their use. |
 |
Turret
The turret houses the curved stairway from the first
floor and features seven curved windows which create a bright
landing where you will discover a Shaker Pendulum Wheel, hetchels
and fuzzy sheep as well as other collectibles. |
 |
Kitchen
The wonderful large country kitchen is filled with light
from three southern facing windows, which are lined with orchids.
A full breakfast will be created for you by your hostess,
Joyce, while you enjoy the newly restored kitchen. Majolica,
pottery and stoneware pigs grace the kitchen and add color
and interest. |

is lovingly displayed in walnut corner cupboard and a walnut
cupboard from Joyce's family holds a collection of cookbooks.
